It is bisected by Alameda Creek and surrounded by high crags and hillsides covered with pines and oak woodlands. It\u2019s a paradise for birds, with many raptors (including Golden Eagles, kites and Kestrels), Acorn woodpeckers, flycatchers, nuthatches, bluebirds, Yellow-billed Magpies, finches, warblers and wrens. In addition, we\u2019ll keep an eye out for the elusive Lazuli Bunting.
