During the early fall and winter it\u2019s also a magnet for hundreds of shorebirds &#8212; Dunlin, godwits, peeps, gulls, curlews, plover, Avocets and stilts, sometimes turnstones and Oystercatchers &#8212; totaling thousands of birds. During a morning walk we usually see 40 different shorebirds, egrets, grebes and ducks, sometimes in great numbers. Best of all, it\u2019s part of a relaxing morning of beautiful beaches, salt air and panoramic views of the bay. Too good to be true? Come see for yourself.
