Nov. 14-16<\/span><\/strong>, 2014<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">This weekend tour of several of the Central Valley\u2019s legendary birding areas should produce great numbers of raptors, ducks, geese, swans, shorebirds, Sandhill cranes and songbirds. More than 300 species of birds and mammals, both resident and migratory, use the refuges of the Sacramento Valley, including almost half of the Pacific flyway\u2019s waterfowl population. Several million ducks and geese migrate through the area during the fall. The tour will begin at\u00a0<span tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1347840743\">2pm Friday<\/span>\u00a0at the Sacramento NWR and continue\u00a0<span tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1347840744\">Saturday<\/span>\u00a0at Gray Lodge. Sunday morning we will visit nearby Colusa refuge and depart by early afternoon. Local accommodations will be in Yuba City. Lodging, directions and birding information provided at registration.
